Gave my Dad a card that said “Thanks for never shying away from doing domestic work instilling me with a sense of gender equality and self-confidence”.  Then I spent the $6.99 a regular store bought lame Father’s Day Card would have cost and bought him candy instead.

Later we’re going out for sushi because he can’t remember how to order or use chopsticks if I’m not there.  Then we’re watching Out of the Furnace, and finishing with some Nina Simone and scotch.

My Dad wins at being a Dad.
